2009 will marks the 400th anniversary of French explorer Samuel de Champlain’s discovery of a lake once called “Bitawbagok” by its early Abenaki inhabitants—and later renamed after Champlain. To commemorate this event, Basin Harbor Club and Resort has created** a free online educational game based on exploring Lake Champlain.
