By Car From Boston, take Interstate 93 to Interstate 89 (at Bow, NH) and follow I-89 to exit 1 at Woodstock, Vermont. Follow Route 4 to Rutland, and turn North (right) onto Route 7 to Vergennes. At Vergennes, follow the signs to 22A, drive through town, over the bridge, and turn right on Panton Road, then right on Basin Harbor Road and proceed for six miles.
From Hartford, take Interstate 91 North to exit 6 at Rockingham, Vermont. Turn left on Route 103 to Rutland, and then North (right) on Route 7 to Vergennes. At Vergennes, follow the signs to 22A, drive through town, over the bridge, and turn right on Panton Road, then right on Basin Harbor Road and proceed for six miles.
From Montreal, take Route 10 East to the Champlain Bridge. Take Route 133 to the border into Vermont, and go South on Interstate 89. Take exit 13 to I-189, and get off on Route 7 South. Follow Route 7 to Vergennes, go through town and follow the signs for Route 22A. Drive over the bridge and turn tight on Panton Road, then right on Basin Harbor Road and proceed for six miles.
From New York, take the New York Thruway to Exit 24 at Albany. Take Interstate 87 North (Adirondack Northway) to exit 20, get off and turn left onto Route 9. Turn left onto NY149 for 11 miles. Turn left onto US Rte. 4. After crossing into VT, take exit 2 and turn left onto VT Rte. 22A North to Vergennes. Drive past the cemetery in Vergennes on your left and turn left onto Panton Road and proceed for 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Basin Harbor Road and proceed for six miles.
From Burlington International Airport, at Airport Exit, turn left on Airport Road/Kennedy Drive. Go straight through four traffic lights. Go straight onto I-189. Exit at Shelburne Road Route 7. Turn left onto Route 7 and drive 20 miles to Vergennes. Exit at Vergennes/Route 22A. Drive through Vergennes, down the hill, across the bridge, and turn right on Panton Road. Turn right on Basin Harbor Road, just after BJ's Farm Supply Store, and proceed for six miles.
By Private Aircraft
Basin Harbor's own 3,200-foot grass airstrip is one of the best in New England. Bring your own tie-downs. The field has no landing lights or avgas. You will find us on the Montreal sectional and the unicom frequency is 122.8. Give us a call downwind and the bellhops will pick you up at the field (which is within easy walking distance of the Lodge).

Burlington International, Vermont's largest commercial airport, is just 45 minutes from Basin Harbor. It is served by major and commuter airlines, with connections from most cities in the Northeast.
By Bus
Greyhound and Vermont Transit lines serve the Vergennes/Burlington area. Transportation to Basin Harbor is available at a nominal fee. Please call the Concierge
